“ Man I go here like every couple days if not more often, and the pizza is always PHENOMENAL, haven't had a bad slice yet, even if I'm trying a new slice I've never had, it's still delicious, and the staff is super friendly which is a plus, can't recommend them enough ”
“ The Best Pizza in the Tri State Area hands Down! Great people great food. The upside-down pizza is something else wow! and I don't really like pizza. Brick oven also! The rest of their food is delicious must try if you're in the area worth the wait or drive if you're not. Nice Dinning room clean every kind of drink you can think of. Free parking in the back. Not easy to find make sure you GPS it. 5* ”

“ Went with friends to try out Mateos. First thing I look at is the appearance. Most importantly is it clean? Mateos was spotless. I was impressed with the staff. Friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. 6 different dishes at our table. Did I mention that the portions were large. Took home half for lunch the following day. Deserts? No idea because we were stuffed from the meal. This is a must visit eatery in Freehold Boro. NTW- been back several times. Still very impressed ”
“ Mateo's has some stellar ratings on Yelp. It was good but they made it out to be L&B's or something. The sausage pizza was my favorite and it was your typical pizzeria pie. The pepperoni was solid and of course the plain worked. As Dave Portnoy would say it was your basic football pizza. They had quick delivery and the guy on the phone was kind. I will be back. 4 stars all the way. ”

Everything is fabulous!! Yes the pizza but I had their puttanesca sauce over spaghetti and it's to die for!! Their salads with grilled chicken.. perfection!! Okay here's the best part.... GREAT PRICES!!! The best in Freehold!! So best prices AND best food??!! YES!! Maybe I should keep this a secret but that wouldn't be fair lol!! I love their dine in seating area. And the staff is incredibly friendly!!! Oh and my waitress was fantastic!! Nothing else to say but very highly recommended pizzeria in Freehold. Put it in your list if you haven't been there yet!! ”
“ Came here for lunch during work and loved it! I wasn't sure what I wanted so I was looking at the menu but I kept going back to the pizza in the display case because it looked delicious. Decided to go with a slice of Buffalo chicken and a slice of mushroom. Both were amazing! My coworker got a salad which also looked really good. I was also told to try the brick oven bakes wings. Can't wait to go back and try more things. Side note, Both owners( they were brothers) came out and talked to us and thanked us for coming. The whole staff was so friendly. Overall great experience! ”
